The plus has 2 big things going for it over the 6 for me. Battery life is awesome and for the first time no longer an issue for a phone. The OIS is sweet too. it will be another plus once apps are released to take full advantage of the true 1080p screen.

The truth is, the + is way too big to use as ur everyday phone. I was in line thinking I was going for the plus. Then one if the guys camping with us brought out actual cases for both devices. I held them both and realized the + was just obnoxious and cumbersome (for me anyway). And the 6 was perfect. My mind was instantly made up. so glad I went with the 6. I just can't see how anyone could carry around the + everyday, for every day uses and actually enjoy it. The 6 even takes some getting used to. But it's very manageable. So if u got the + and ur already questioning ur decision, take it back and get the 6. Cause once the novelty wears off its only going to become more annoying. If u love it, that's great. It's so awesome that we now have a choice with iphone. But for me, the iphone should never be bigger then 4.7. And I now know why, and totally appreciate Steve jobs being so adamant about 3.5-4" being the sweet spot...but I do love my 6 even though it's taking some getting used to.

Some people have a harder time adapting to a larger size. But all the other manufacturers figured it out. Most people prefer larger screens. Most. Not all. But the most dictate the market demand, which in turn dictates what manufacturers produce. And thus we have big iPhones.

Apple wisely created two sizes, knowing a portion of its core base would prefer a smaller phone. So now they have three. Small, medium and large. They cater to both their core base and new customers who may be Android users because they prefer larger phones.

So now you have choice, where before Apple only had the one size. They're late to the party but came with respectable choices.

Keeping my 6+ When I first opened it and started to use it I thought I had made a mistake going with the Plus but after spending the day using it as am really happy I ordered the Plus
The Sreen is great and the Battery life is really good

im pretty small dude, 5'9 150. small hands. iphone 6+ is perfect. i left apple bc their screen sizes were too small and went to a nexus 5. took me a few days to adjust but not the nexus 5 became too small (5"). would never downsize/downgrade to a 4.7" screen, too small.

Just wondering if there is anyone else thinking of switching to the regular 6? I've had some serious trouble handling my plus since i got it yesterday and it has me concerned :(

I love the Plus now. I was afraid for the first 24 hours, but there's no way I could go back.

I know a friend who did but then his fingers are the size of chicken mc nuggets so makes sense. I've been using the plus for 2 days almost and I truly love this thing. The screen size is pure enjoyment. Is it big?..sure it is but for me, having that kind of screen size in my pocket is very reassuring in case I have to read or watch something. The plus is really an amazing phone. I think most people act too fast. Give it a few days and this thing will grow on you and you won't go back to a smaller screen. The plus is s treat :)

I can't get use to the size.my brother bought it and mine is in a box unopened.i have a G3 and had the Sony z2 and both were "big" but this plus is another beast.
Can't decide if I can manage it.

The big one is for people that will use it around the house or perhaps a woman that can carry it in a purse. Of course there will be nerds that look at specs on paper and blindly commit to lugging it around. It's just not a practicle sized device to be a phone. It's like carrying a psp around all day. Stop the madness already!

As I type this on my Plus I realize that it is big and I have been on the fence. I hope I don't regret it and I do have my 13 days of trial left. There will be 6s to exchange it for if need be. I love the screen. Not sure if I will get hand cramp from it. I said I would not go for a 5.5 and that I preferred a 4.8-5.1. I think the 4.7 could have been slightly bigger. I went for battery and other specs. We'll see. But it is very nice. Bought a BT headset because I don't want to hold it to talk that much. I will but for longer calls I already use my headphones and I figured BT would make it easier. Not one to walk around with it in my ear all day though. Pocket fit is fine. Not too big. Slimness really helps the size.

But the key thing for me. I think that I use it for so much email and other stuff including a lot of web browsing that the screen is huge for that. If it means less one handed usage I think that I need to change how I use my phone to suit the size. The advantages of the size I think outweigh the disadvantages and I will start using it more two handed. I love my iPad Mini but never use it because it is never with me. My phone is.

Well said!! I experienced it today

No way I'd trade in my 6+! I love it. In fact, 3 of my staff are all ordering 6 Pluses after playing with mine. I like the larger size. Now, if my case would just get here I'll be set.

Seems like it would be great for snow boarding but I live in Florida so its of no use to me. 6 is just right for my girly-man hands.

I want to exchange my 64GB Space Grey iPhone 6+ for the regular iPhone 6 I don't think I will be able to get use to this screen size it huge. Mmmmm it's beuatiful though but I keep my phone in my pocket almost all the time and I like to type one handed and it's very hard to do on this device.

Took my plus back today. I bought a 6 And a plus to compare but I only used the plus for 10 minutes. It's a silly huge phone. I thought the G3 was big.....well at least I don't have to second guess anything now.

Tell me what your experience exchanging it was like. I'm assuming your pre-ordered the Plus online and got it shipped to you? Did you have the Plus sealed in the box still when you traded it? Did you just walk in to the retail store and they swapped it?

Definitely thinking about trading in my Plus. I'm going to give it at least a week (assuming I don't drop the damn thing, trying to use it one-handed) to see if I get used to the ridiculous size.

It doesn't help that the majority of apps don't take advantage of the screen at all. I think the Plus might be more palatable if there was an actual advantage to the higher resolution and greater screen space. Also, I haven't been all that impressed with the battery life so far (although that means I might really be disappointed if I go to a 6).

Using the phone two-handed, it totally kicks ass. Well, except for the frequent bugs in switching to/from landscape mode and the problematic split-pane operation. The problem is that I'm used to reaching for my phone and doing some things really quickly with one hand, and I have a sneaking suspicion that I will either need to change that habit or watch my Plus go crashing to the ground sometime.
