Bestbuy has some killer deals on MacBooks right now and I am feeling myself be tempted! Anyone else? Its the lowest prices I have seen personally. My mid2012 air does just fine...but man maybe its time?

I think it's definitely worth jumping on. The 2016 models are great machines and I'd be surprised if there is that much of a difference in the anticipated refresh in the next couple of months. I have a 2015 that serves my needs just fine but if I needed one now I'd definitely jump on the deal.

Yeah my 2012 has been doing just fine, but its starting to catch up to times a bit. I just don't know if I can pass up this deal.

Yes. I pulled the trigger on a space gray m5 this morning. It will arrive on Thursday. It was too good a deal to pass up.

If only was Canadian equivalent or BestBuy canada offered this deal. I am ready to move from MBP 13 inch to a 12 incher and it's the 2nd gen I have been waiting for a good price drop.

Sigh. This country everything too damn expensive, deals few and far between..

Bestbuy web site. Look for MacBook. The 500g hd version is 350 off. MBP are also 250 off.

I'm not positive, but it looks like this at least equals the best deal we have seen. The base model of this machine (only 256GB SSD) and the late 2016 13" Macbook Pro without TouchBar seems to be at a good prices, too.

I'm guessing we see a 2017 Macbook in April. I'm not sure what they are likely to put in it that would be worth the $350 delta. 2nd generation butterfly keyboard? Perhaps Thunderbolt3 instead of simply USB-C gen1? Or maybe the new price will come down a bit like they did with the Macbook Air over time . . .

I got it this afternoon. This is the first device I've ever received with zero battery charge. Setup will take a while.

Yikes that sucks. I ended up grabbing the MacBook Pro because it was the exact same price at my local BB, but smaller HD.

At this point I will wait until Spring to see if there is a 3rd gen refresh.

Then decide on 2nd or 3rd gen but I'm gonna guess the 2nd (plus hopefully some kind of discount in Canada). 2nd gen looks more than adequate for me.

I love my MPB 2015 13 inch but I am realizing portability is more important to me than performance and ports..

No, I can't get past the keyboard. It feels like you're typing on a piece of wood.
Also the CPU is too anemic considering the price. My 11 inch MacBook Air with an i7 will eat that thing for breakfast.

I gotta be honest. The keyboard has not taken me over yet. But the retina screen vs my air definitely has. Trying to see if I can get used to the keyboard enough to keep it.

Picked up the Bestbuy deal this week and loving this little guy. All out of space grey so standard silver was my only option but i have a really cool carbon fiber skin in route. So far the keyboard is a bother but 70% of the time it will be docked on the desk at the office. Hoping the Apple adaptor will be all i need to get things done.
