1920x1200 at 24" is abit too small, although it is double the distance away!

It is HUGE!

I have compared 1920x1200 to 1680x1050 on 15 inch side by side and 1920x1200 was not much smaller. I really thought 1680x1050 was 1920x1200 before I compared them side by side and looked at the the resolution. 1920x1200 was only a tiny bit smaller.

I would prefer 1920x1200 on a 15 inch laptop over a 24 inch 1920x1200 desktop.

I can't imagine 1920x1200 on a laptop would be anything but a bad idea.

Talk about eye strain :/

1680x1050 would be nice.

Speaking as someone who uses a 1920x1200 hacked screen on my MBP - I can vouch that it's not a bad idea. To all of those who say it's a gimmick, do you realize the pixel density is greater on an iPhone than it is on a 1920x1200 15.4 inch display? Does that mean the iPhone resolution is a gimmick?

To each his own...

+1, can't wait for Apple to offer 15" 1080p & Blu-ray :)

Cheers,
