I'm thinking about getting the nVidia 8800GT for my 1st Gen Mac Pro (Quad-Core) and Guitar Hero 3 sucks on the 7300GT that is currently installed. I get really poor framerates on the LOWEST settings and it makes the game damn near impossible to get the same scores I get on the PS2 version on a CRT TV. So has anyone tried it with the 8800GT?
