Anyone trying Target in the morning?

Some Target aren't getting any. I had to stop into the Target by my office for a wedding gift, and asked the phone guy what kind of stock they were getting and he said they aren't getting any. Not sure about other Target locations in the area.

Hmm don't know about that. Maybe they don't want the lineups.....

My Target in Ohio said they received a shipment already but aren’t allowed to say how many. I’ll be lining up at Target early in the morning to try my luck with them.
 
FYI I'm not sure if it will apply to all stores and/or this launch but it has been my experience with iPad releases that Target will update their store inventory status online at some random hour in the morning and you can then do order online for in store pick up in the morning. When the first iPad Pro 9.7 came out, I store ordered at 3am and then picked it up that morning at 8 at customer service.

I walked right in my Target and they had 10 (5 256gigs and 5 64Gigs). There were only 3 of us in line.
 
Awesome. I'll try Target. Did you have to wait for a "Tech" to sell you the upgrade? Also - how long did the process take since it has to be on monthly plans?
