iPhone 12 Pro Anyone undecided between the Mini and the Pro Max?

So those debating, did your debate have a winner?

Mine is presently a tie. I ordered both. Hate to get both knowing I'll return one, but waiting until they're available in store isn't a practical solution. I usually need to live with a phone for a bit to know if it's for me. Thank goodness, I at least know I always like white/silver. It's nice to have one decision be easy. Curious how it's been for others?

Mini is out for me, my choices are down to Max, Pro or keep my 8+. I want to see them in person before making a decision. More important, I want to read reviews about differences from those who have experienced both Pro and Max before deciding. I'm not afraid of large phones but these phones keep getting larger and larger. I appreciate a larger battery though so not sure how much sense it makes to go to the Pro. And the cameras. I have previewed the statistics but want to see real world examples of the differences between the two before I make a final decision.

I bought both. I really want to see the mini and there are no Apple stores near me to go check it out. Both coming next Friday. If I had to guess I will be sticking with the Pro Max, but this is the first time I have been on the fence since I started using the big phones with the 6 series.

I pre-ordered the Mini over the Max today. I really wanted the Max for the upgraded camera features but in the end I couldn't stand the heft of the phone when carrying it on a day-to-day basis around work. I feel like I'm not going to be missing much besides the telephoto lens (which I rarely use) and a bigger sensor.

And the regular 12 and 12 Pro are not really that much smaller when compared with my current 11 Pro Max (I compared my gf's 12 Pro).

Me too! Since I went big, I’ve tried to go small a couple times to the 8 and the SE. I kept them for a couple months because I liked how small they were until I didn’t because I wanted my big screen again.

Think it’s good for us to try. Hope you enjoy both—although one more than the other so you can get off that fence.
