Wondering if anyone upgraded another line on their plan to get the iPhone5 but when they receive it plan on switching it to their line. Oh btw With Verizon. If so... Anyone foresee this being a problem?

I did that to get my 4s on Verizon. I was so sick of my Fascinate.
I had way too long to wait for upgrade. I walked in to Best Buy, said I want to add a line with a 4s. This was right before the tiered Data plans took in effect.
So dont know how this works now.
But I gave them a dumb phone. After purchase, they switched the iPhone to my current number, put dumb phone on new line.
So I got a 4s for $199 and unlimited data, just paid $10/month for the dumb phone.

It was Verizons idea, so its not sneaky.
I see it being harder cause of new shared plans, but hey, try it.

I have a family line and am using one of the other lines for the iPhone upgrade.

I plan on contacting att to get my swap done as soon as I get the phone in my hands. I won't even turn it on until I get in contact with att. The swap becomes more complicated if the phone is activated.

I ordered mine using my wife's line, we have 4 lines in our family plan and I already used mine to upgrade my wife to a 3GS. I wll head straight to my AT&T store when it arrives since I am grandfathered in for the $30 "Unlimited/throttled" plan.
:D
