Anyone upgraded ATV from 5.3 to 7.x?

Because of lagging and stuttering problems with my AppleTV 3 when I upgraded to iOS6, I kept it on 5.3.

If you had these problems also, how is your upgrade experience from 5.3 to 7? Are the stuttering problems solved? TIA.
