Anyone upgrading from iPad 3 to iPad 4?

I bought an iPad 2 when it first came out, and was planning on skipping the 3rd generation, but won an iPad 3 through work and gave the 2 to my girlfriend.

Since I was already planning on getting a 4th gen (not this early) and my girlfriend was going to upgrade anyway (she loves the retina display on mine), I'll probably sell her iPad 2 and grab a new iPad.

Anyone else upgrading?

No. My 3gen does everything I want it to do, and I don't really feel it's lacking in speed or power for my usage pattern.

Nope. I'll wait until the 5 I guess. My iPad isn't slow, and there aren't any new features in the wifi version that interest me.

I wanted a thinner and lighter large iPad.

That was a surprise. Nope, not upgrading, I even bought AppleCare+ on my iPad 3. I'll just keep it until it doesn't run stuff anymore.

Kinda ticked though - wasn't expecting an EOL for iPad 3 for a LONG time.

Hurry. U can still trade in a mint iPad 64gb LTE for $660 amazon trade in. U won't be losing more than $160 plus taxes to upgrade.

I may fish around and see what I could get by selling my iPad 3, but in all likelihood I probably won't upgrade. Although it would be really nice to completely rid myself of 30-pin cables since I just got an iPhone 5.

Didn't expect that they will upgrade iPad this soon, I was waiting for the next generation to upgrade if it's thinner/lighter, which this one doesn't fit the bill, I don't see the need for faster processor, especially when the battery life is still the same.

Crossing my fingers for the 5th gen to be thinner/lighter, and metal buttons like in iPad mini in the next year. I really like the new design of iPad mini, but I am spoiled by the retina display of my iPad, so iPad mini isn't attractive to me either.

You do realize you lose nothing right? if your product didn't function then it makes sense for someone to complain.

I only upgrade if the current is too slow and doesn't work to my needs. My iPhone 3G which is 5 years old too slow now so at Xmas upgrade to iPhone 5. Same with ipad. My ipad 1 was about 3-4 years old and was getting slow plus the scree was terrible so I upgraded to ipad 3. See the pattern? All my apple products last 3 years or more if I upgrade now again it would be a waste of monies
