Hi there? wanted to ask if anyone is upgrading their ipp 10.5? I’m considering but unsure. I don’t use my ipad for big things though. 90% of the time to surf. I write a few emails. I’m considering getting rid of my Mac though and consolidating. I have a 2013 mbp.

of course I’m also waiting for the world to stop ending before I make big purchases.

just wanted to know if others out there are upgrading their ipp 10.5.

Yes, and I just ordered the 11”. But within 10 minutes i’m having doubts about whether I should have gone for the 12.9” instead. AHH!

Gone from 10.5 ipp to 11 2020. I hardly use my Mac now , infact I think it hasn’t even had 20 power cycles.... I need to sell it, iPad seems to be where carry it everywhere

I will keep my 10.5. And when I upgrade it will be to the 12.9. So the 10.5 will remain my mid-sized device (I won't get an 11 inch one) and I'll take advantage of the new hardware features (including the larger magic keyboard and trackpad of the 12.9) on the larger model.

if I get one I’ll have similar issues I’m sure!

I went from the 10.5" iPad Pro to 12.9" iPad Pro, the extra screen estate is very welcome. The USB-C port is nice too, which I used Ethernet for Zoom meeting.

I think I’ll wait to see what happens at the end of this year/beginning of next year, I would love a 5G with an A14 chip, and my 10.5 works great, no need to upgrade yet.

I’m thinking of replacing my 10.5 iPP but with the 2019 version...there are some great deals on 256GB refurbs on the Apple Store and don’t see any benefit in the 2020 version but can save almost £200

Unless you want the extra 2 GB RAM, its hard to pass up a $200 savings.
