iPhone 11 Anyone upgrading from Xs Max to 11?

Hey. I currently have the XS Max and I’m thinking if I should go for 11 or 11 Pro. It’s obvious that everything in 11 is better but the screen. And then, the price difference between 11 Pro and 11 is £420 which is a lot, just for a better screen. I have iPad Pro which has even smaller pixel density than the 11 and I still think it’s pretty good. Yes, you can see it’s not as sharp and etc as the one on Xs Max, but that’s just when you compare them side by side. I’m more concerned about the screen size being slightly smaller, but still shouldn’t be a massive issue. What is more, the rumours are that next the new iPhone will be a bigger update than what this year is, so I know I am going to get it again and I am not sure I can really justify the price difference between both. But then still, I haven’t decided yet. Will pop up at Apple store next Friday, when I’m collecting my watch 5 (upgrading from 4, not sure if that was smart decision lol) and will play around with the new devices which would hopefully help me decide which one to get.

Mostly, people are discussing Xs to 11 Pro, so I was wondering if people are thinking of going my route.
 
You're not alone. I've seen a few threads with a number of forum members contemplating the same. This is also the route I'm taking. I was always going to upgrade this time around due to wanting a smaller form factor but I'm not prepared to pay so much more for OLED and Telephoto.

I'll no doubt be upgrading in 2020 for the redesign anyway and may be more inclined to pay the additional premium then should the features be more compelling.

I’m swapping my Xs max for the 11! Had thought of going down to the 11pro before the announcements but then the prices were released!! I’m on the iup program and the prices are just nuts for the PRO, so I’ve gone for the 11 and I’m saving £20 a month and getting double the 128gb!!

Was like you. Ordered 11 pro 64 MG. After considering and comparing and trying hard to justify the extra $400..

I just couldn’t justify myself forking out $400 for OLED and telephoto...both the pro and 11 has the same features except telephoto and OLED.

And got myself 128 yellow 11.

I plan to go for the green one. Still wondering between 64 and 128, but I have never ran out of storage, so I guess 64 will be fine.
 
I was so impressed with the XR got one in March as a new work phone from my company and was amazed at how much I liked the size, weight etc! I’d been struggling with the size and weight of the XS Max. I’m sure I’ll still have jealousy when is see those triple lenses on the pros, but for the few occasions I’d use the telephoto lens really I’d rather have more storage and cash in my pocket, that will no doubt go back to Apple, with an arcade subscription .

Switching from an XS Max 64gb to a 256gb Red 11. It’s an upgrade for me. Bigger storage, Better CPU, Better Cameras, Lighter, Cheaper monthly payments. Will I miss the OLED? Probably only during the adjustment period. I don’t care about the third lens. I never had it with the XS Max to begin with.

Same here I am on iUP and on the XS. Since I would likely upgrade next year anyway, I can choose to pay the XS off this year then sell and immediately start paying Apple again or I can save a bit on the monthly and try the 11 and see if it suits my needs. 128 GB is my sweet spot, 64 is too small and 256 is overkill. Pre ordered the Green one.

I have a green 11 coming tomorrow, but I'm starting to have second thoughts like I might want to swap it for an 11 Pro. I just haven't quite convinced myself that it's worth the extra $400 to go from the 128GB 11 to the 256GB 11 Pro.

I'll probably end up sticking with the 11, just because I don't want to deal with the hassle, but I'm tiring of the big screen on the Max models. Held a XS in store the other day and it just felt amazing in my hand. I'll probably go with that 5.8" size in 2020.

I hear you. I actually had the MG 11 pro set for 9/20 delivery. I thought the size of the X was spot on. But I ended up going with the 11 due in part to the slightly larger keyboard and a little more info on the screen. Both great devices.

Same here. Can't justify the cost difference.
