Just curious if there's anyone else on here that's on Sprint's new 'iPhone Forever' plan that they started a few weeks ago and plans on upgrading to the 6S when it goes up for preorder/sale...I'm assuming preorders will work like every other preorder.

Or are you on a different plan w/ Sprint and upgrading to the 6S?

If I were I would. But I'm on a lease with a 6 (my wife) and a 6+ (me). Lease has to be paid off in full and a qualifying phone turned in before Sprint will allow you to be on iPhone Forever.

In short…I'm ineligible.

Yeah, I've been reading about other people in the same situation. I switched over from Verizon and did the Cut Your Rate In Half deal + iPhone Forever. Haven't been able to find anyone in the same boat as me lol

This is my plan for this year. As I plan on going with the 6s Plus.

It seems like an alright plan.

i think the sprint deal is okay, as long as you don't want to cancel. then you have to pay off all the remaining lease payments. the iPhone you lease never belongs to you. you must give the device back , or you have to make a lump
payment to keep it.

one thing i don't like about sprint is for $60 unlimited you get no mobile hotspot what so ever.

$60 unlimited + 2 gb hotspot = $80 on sprint
$80 unlimited ( including 7gb of mobile hotspot) = $80 on t-mobile.
$60 unlimited + 6 gb of hotspot = $110 on sprint

borrowing a samsung s6 for 30 days and getting unlimited sprint including tethering with a 1.5 terabyte cap = $1

i cancelled version because i lost data if i chose to tether.
$80 1 gb share everything plan with hotspot or $80 2 gb individual plan no hotspot

i don't really need channel 12 , but if they keep adding more channels to the iPhone , i might get it
if its just stronger and force touch , i think ill wait another year.

damn.
so you must trade in a phone to get 24 months at $19 for a 6 plus, and after the lease is up
you have to pay either $203 or give up that phone, and you lost whatever phone you traded in

Yeah, it doesn't work for some people. I don't really care if the phone isn't completely mine anyway, doesn't really affect how I use I tot anything. It's only worth it if you always want to have the latest iPhone, otherwise you shouldn't be getting the plan.

You're on the iPhone Forever plan?

This is the plan I'm going to use this year when I upgrade. Sprint up until this week tried to tell me I couldn't upgrade this year and I told them they were full of crap because I was paying the $10 a month extra a for yearly upgrades. So they got that straightened out and now this is what I get..

Yeah, it sounds like it's a good plan so far, but who knows how long it'll last. Seems too good to be true...upgrading to the new iPhone every year for free pretty much (aside from the lease).

Was told by my local Sprint Store to call / go in on Thursday to find out whether or not preorders will be done online or not. They're apparently having a meeting after the event on Wednesday.

If anyone is preordering a Sprint iPhone I would HIGHLY recommend ordering direct from Apple instead.

Sprint's website has folded from the traffic in a matter of minutes on the last three launch days. Additionally, there were MANY reports last year of Sprint users ordering within the time frame for delivery on launch day but Sprint completely dropping the ball with launch day deliveries occurring one to two months AFTER launch day.

There was a multipage Sprint thread here with Sprint users in it documenting their cases well past the time users on the other carriers had received their launch day phones.

Not discouraging anyone from using Sprint's website on launch day, but just bringing this up so everyone is aware.

Gotta preorder from Sprint if you're on the iPhone Forever plan

Agreed! Last year I was in a huge nightmare because of this issue! Long story short after much haggling I ended up getting mine in store on launch day, but it would've been 2 months had I had to wait on my online order.
