Anyone upto date on laptop hard drives? Forcast for 1.5-2TB hdds?

As the title states, does anyone have an idea when we will start seeing larger capacity laptop hdds? Newegg only offers 1TB at the most and it has been like that for quite some time it seems

But those are 3.5" HDDs, dukebound85 was looking for 2.5" HDDs.

Thanks....but not really helpful as they are all desktop hard drives

my guess we will see them in about a 12-18 months. It still follows moore Law and has been for a while.

For laptops I think less of capacity at this point and more on performance, i.e, SSDs

My mistake. I appear to making a lot of reading mistakes recently. 😕
