Down south
I ordered these and am just wondering if anyone has ever used one before. The installation directions look simple enough, but it requires some solution to activate the adhesive, and I just want to be sure I’ll be able to remove it if I need or want to down the road.

Hoping someone has had experience with it and can share. Thanks!

I actually have one on my series 4. So far so good, you can't tell I have it on.

I used them on an older AW 2 that I used to own. Installation was easy and they worked nicely. I’ve since had an SS AW3 and I didn’t use a screen protector as it has a sapphire crystal. I would get the IQ shield again if I were wearing an Al AW.

Has anyone needed to replace one? Just wondering how easy they are to remove from the watch, if needed.

Based on the responses though, I think I’ll go for it!

That may end up being a bad decision.

For those of you that have used it, how difficult is it to put on, and how long does it really take to “set?”

Depends on how much of the edge is covered.

I find that the hardest part is getting it centered. Once centered, squeegee the top to the edges but dont fold over the edges. Let is sit for 15 to 20 min then begin to work the edges over. Start at a corner. Folder over, press down and hold. Then repeat.... Work on it for another 15 min or until all edges are down. Let sit for 2 to 4 more hours or overnight.

Ok - thanks! Gonna attempt this now!

Went through all 6 of them and couldn't get any of them to stay down on the corners. Company sent me a whole new package of 6 for free.

Well mine was looking great, but I put my watch in the front pocket of my purse last night because I was at my daughter’s and needed a soft place to put it for the night. Pulled it out this morning and it looks like something caught one of the corners and pulled it a little. It made a small bubble but I was able to press it back out. I’ll just have to see how it holds up at this point.

Overall I really like the look though - you can’t even really tell it’s there.

I have now put on my S4 both versions of the IQ Shield and the AmorShield.

The ArmorShield is the winner because the edges are a tad bit smoother but most importantly...it is much less of a fingerprint magnet. I had AmorShield on my 3 and should have just stuck with it.

So I will be returning the IQ's as defective.
