Anyone use Apple Pencil with GoodReader or Evernote?

Just ordered an 11" ipp, debating an Apple Pencil. I do a lot of PDF reading/markup with GoodReader, and note taking with Evernote, and wondering if a Pencil will be better then using a finger or the thumb keyboard. I can't find a lot online about Apple Pencil with either of these, except that it's "compatible."
 
Apple pencil is done for this activies. I use mine every day with adobe reader for reading and underlying papers and with goodnotes for writing notes.
