I've heard good things, but not used it personally, yet. I'll check back in with a real opinion when my longer vga cable shows up later this week and I can run it into the projector. I've been working towards this project (originally I was going to be using centerstage, then osxbmc, now plex) for a while, and the cable is the last piece to fall into place.
I've been using it for a while on a C2D 1.83Ghz Macbook connected to a Sony XBR Telly - It works really well.
Manages to playback Hidef (720p and 1080i) .mkv files across a network with no problems.
Apple remote works seemlessly.
Only problem I have is that when the Macbook sleeps it occasionally wakes up (Something to do with one of the IR remotes I have in our lounge room)
