I'm so tempted to get the plus, but the bezels make it so huge. I was wondering if anyone uses their plus more than the 4.7 than they expected because of the bigger screen and what those uses may be.

Dont be scared of the size. The Plus offers so
much, I havent picked up my iPad in two years because it's so much better to use when I'm at home. I could never go back to a smaller phone now.

When the plus came out I originally ordered it then I got freaked out and swapped it for the 6 before it arrived. Biggest mistake ever. I always wished i had just gotten the plus. I liked the 6 nothing wrong with it... it takes about 2-3 weeks to relearn how to hold the phone after that, you'll never want to go back. just be open minded to the plus an give it a fair shake

That's just it. As stated above you just have to adjust to it. Once you get used to it you won't want to use a smaller device again. My wife was apprehensive as well but now she won't use the smaller size either.

The very first time I held it to the side of my face to actually make a call it felt strange but I quickly got used to it..

Texting with one hand is a little tough but besides that the plus is amazing.. I barely use my laptop anymore unless I am doing work. YouTube, Internet, Facebook or whatever is all perfect on the plus.. give it a shot and you will probably be very happy you did..

I know I'd love the screen size, but the bezels make the phone so big! I also worry about the phone being comfortable in my pocket. I remember going from iPhone 5 to galaxy s4 5" screen was amazing. Ug...decisions!

dooooo ittttttt
I did and I cannot even use my old 6. Plus is the size this generation of tech should be.

I ordered the 4.7" at midnight, so now if I cancel I'll wait a while for the plus. That wouldn't deter my switching to the plus, but it is a bummer.

Does anyone else use their iPad less after having a plus? I use the iPad over all other devices at home.

Gaming and videos on the Plus models is a much more pleasant experience. I've had a 6+ for almost 2 years and tried a 4.7" for a week and hated it. It's just too small.

But I don't do gaming on my iPhone. I only do that on my iPad. Definitely preferable on the iPad over the plus, so that's not a factor for me.

Not me. iPad is in a class by itself. Phablets have their own niche in my world but iPad is the most convenient comfortable interface with the Internet for me at home.

Definitely. I use the phone more and the iPad less.

your fear and mine were the same. Once I had the plus it took about 2 weeks to get use to it then those fears went away. I don't really notice it in my pocket.

I tried the 6s+ for 7 months, then used my JoD for the 6s 4.7. I don't have the biggest hands in the world, and I missed 1 handed typing. I'm usually walking with things in one hand at work, and typing an email with the other, and the plus made it hard for me. I would say give it a shot, and if you don't like it then now you know your size.

Benefits I miss: Battery life, screen size, using iPad less, Camera (OiS, now Dual Lens)
Cons: Sucks w/ smaller hands, running sucks (heavy, and also falls out of gym shorts), looks bulky in work pants.

I'm so damn tempted by this bigger screen, simply because I use my phone more as a tablet than a communications device.

Nice for two handed use as well.

I've been a staunch smaller screen fan for portability, but this particular 7+ has really got me thinking.

I am getting my first plus model whenever my 7 arrives. I do have the same fears that you have, but I am going into it with an open mind, and I'm very excited about it.

There are lots of threads I've read here on MR asking the same question: to get a plus or not.

Overall, the general feedback is about 50%. Half of the people prefer smaller phones, the other half like the plus.

So no one can give you a definitive recommendation. Just try it out. And even if 70% of the people like one size of phone, that doesn't mean that you will too.

If you get a Loopy case, one handed use of the + is easy. And you'll never drop it.

Doesn't help that I have been vocal about making fun of plus owners since it's inception.

To cross over now, my friends would have a field day.

I moved from a 5 to a 6S+ and took forever to decide to move up in size. I love love love it. My DH has a 5S and his screen confuses me every time I have to use his phone for something because it seems so tiny.

I spend a lot of hours at my kids' sports practices and love having a larger screen to pass the time. I can still fit it in a jeans pocket if needed, but mostly it lives in my purse when I have to carry it.

Oddly, I drop the larger phone way less frequently than I ever did with my 5, and I was worried it would be the opposite.

I don't know of anyone who has a + size and regrets it.

I think I will love the screen. I've heard some people not liking that because the screen is so big, what they are doing is less private and easier for people to see, over the shoulder. Anyone notice this? I know I'd feel that using my iPad in public.

Only from my kids. :eek::)
