I know, I mentioned that someone already said that in this thread... post #15. :p

Oh... I guess that would be the other way. I assumed that nobody said that since the way you posted way seems a bit more tedious than the first suggested way - especially since it only works if a text box is selected.

I do trust Mac but I also run Norton Anti-Virus Corporate Edition to be sure to be sure (as they say in Ireland)

Don't bother with virus protection.

All I use is the firewall built in to OSX, and all that probably does is slow my computer a tad...

...maybe...

...I should turn it off?

I used Windows for five years. My Windows installation never got infected even once. I never used an anti-virus software.

There is more chance of Ballmer appearing in Mac ads than me using anti-virus software on OS X. :p

I assume you were connected to the internet (ha ha)

My friend you should write immediately to the Guinness Book of records.

Five years and no viruses ....... remarkable. Anyone else beat that?

A bit off topic, but...

Hm, Well mine dies as soon as i close the window. Wonder what is different...

This is a bug in the current version of Safari 2.0.4 (419.3), as it doesn't seem to honor the plist entry WebContinuousSpellCheckingEnabled. This seems to have been fixed or applied in the WebKit nightlies, and has been for quite some time.

Using the latest version of WebKit, I don't need to enable it for each individual textbox or for each new instance/window of Safari.

Ah, I should have said 'my Windows installations'. I used to re-install Windows every two months. It's been a year on OS X without a re-install.
