Anyone used an iPhone with a projector?

My friend sent me this video he made of his iPhone connected to portable projector, he used an AAXA P450 but I guess the projector doesn't matter as long as it has HDMI right?

I've been wanting to try this for a while now, seems like there are a lot of uses for this type of application.

I have a portable projector that I use either with my iPad or phone. Great for letting the grandkids have their own movie theatre when they come up. You'll need the USB to HDMI connector and a lightning to USB. Plug in and go.
