For any of those developers or other people who managed to get their hands on 10.9.1 beta 2 (release on the 21st), I'm wondering if it resolved any of the Finder responsiveness issues or random beachballs?

I never had the problem in the first place (so I cant tell if beta 2 had any effect on it) but here's the fix:

I don't think I've seen any 'random' beachballs but I was only seeing those in Chrome and while playing a few steam games to begin with.

been running 10.9.1 (13B35) since release, I still on occasion get the beach ball, but only for a split second

How does that compare to your 10.9.0 experience? Were you getting a longer or similar delay?

Never have had beach ball issues but the QuickLook and Gmail problems are still there.
