Hello,
Forget the idea of getting screwed by ATT's new tethering policy whenever they allow the feature. Has anyone bought and used one of these "aircards" and inserted their Iphone sim card? Does it work ok using the 3G? Did ATT try adn charge any extra even though or plans are technically unlimitied?

I know I wouldn't be able to receive calls but this could be a cheap alternative.

thanks

Even though AT&T doesn't allow tethering, you can still do it.

If you're a developer, like me, then you can just edit the .ipcc file for iPhone.

Get the iTunes 8.2 Pre-Release and just upload.

Now you have tethering on iPhone 3.0.

It works great with the GM Seed.
