Hello,

Anyone using one of those APC uninterrupted power supplies ?

Apparently their Power-Chute software is non-existent for the Mac, or what is available is very poor.

But i read somewhere, I think, that there is something "built in" to the Mac
that is more or less equivalent.

Anyone know anything about it ?
Or any suggestions on how to monitor the health of the APC battery, etc. ?

Thanks,
Bob

Yes, using APC UPS (BE750G) old but works fine on iMac. No APC Software required. Just make sure the RJ45 cord is connected to APC and USB-A connected to USB port on iMac. Also using newer APC UPS BN650M1-CA for Smart TV, Router
