Anyone using Hoodman RAW STEEL USB 3 Card reader With Late 2012 IMac?

Was thinking of buying the Hoodman Steel USB 3 card reader for use with my late 2012 iMac & and my Nikon D3s, but thought to ask if anyone else was doing this without issue, as there had been previous reports of the card reader not working with the MacBook Air. Thanks for any feedback.

I have one on my 2012 iMac and so far it seems to be working just fine with the USB-3 interface.
