I bought it yesterday for my iPad. Starting and saving projects on the iPad and repopening and continuing on the Mac would be a great use case scenario I think. Thoughts?

I use it on my M1 MBA. It works really well. But I don’t think the projects will sync between devices, at least mine don’t.

but can't you save the project to nextcloud and reopen it on the other device? I will test it when I can.

I wasn’t aware you could do that. I was under the impression that when you import your clips into LumaFusion, it only links to wherever the files are on your iPad. So if you were able to share the project with your Mac, it wouldn’t have access to the original clips.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

You can export projects, but I believe you still would need to re link them. Not too much of a problem if you keep it all organised on an external.

cool. so if I keep all parts of the project in a nexcloud folder, synced between devices, it should be seamless.

I’ve used Lumafusion on my M1 mini 8gb. It renders well and faster than Luma projects on my iPad 6th Gen.

Its an old thread, but the search engine robots brought me here ;-)
I also have the Lumafusion app and use it once or twice a year. My iPad is pretty outdated but i own a M1 MacMini. The app runs on this well.
The only annoying thing is, that elements in the UI are very very small (on a normal FullHD Display). And i wonder, if there would be a hack to make it bigger.
