Just curious to hear experiences from people who use(d) this. It's obviously not an Aperature/LR replacement, but seems more an iPhoto/Photos/Picasa type of program.

If you do, just wondering what features you most use & like about it. Looking to hear what it does really well so that I can balance that against the features it's missing (compared to my current set up).

It keeps getting updated, so someone must be using it. :)

I use it. I was using a viewer from ACD but every upgrade in OSX from Apple broke the ACD viewer and I would need to buy a more expensive viewer from them. After the 2nd time, I looked around and found Lyn. It is fast, somewhat limited but useful for cropping, renaming, etc. I usually download all my photos into a directory and use Lyn to find the keepers. Delete the rest and import the good ones into Lightroom.

If you want a fast browser to view and cull images prior to LR, try the Perfect Browser app.

I found it pretty nifty, but now use Graphic Converter instead. Both are browsers, and hence inherently different than Lr, Aperture, iPhoto, etc.

Another quick browser is Aftershot Pro by Corel. Or try XNViewMP; it's free and is especially nice for those who use hierarchical keywords.
