Anyone here using the Pride sport band with their Series 6 SS 44mm?

I have this combo, and for some reasons when I attach the S/M band to the watch, it won’t lock in place. The M/L band works without problem. I went back to the Apple store to potentially exchange for another one, thinking the S/M band is defective. I tried another Pride sport band, same problem. I tried both mine and their Pride sport band on another Series 6 SS watch in the store. Same problem. Band won’t lock in place.

Anyone here have this issue on this combo?

I do have this with one of my sports bands. Putting it, where it should lock. Pull the band a bit and maybe wiggle it in place solves the problem every time.

I haven’t tried with my series 6 but I tried and returned 3 pride sport bands that had one part or the other refusing to click into my series 5. In the end I decided it wasn’t meant to be.

Yes. I tried pulling and wiggling the band hoping it will lock in place, but it just won’t do it. Originally I was using the Pride band on my series 4 SS and it was fine. I also tried the Pride band with other aluminum series 6 in the store and no issues. It’s strange.

It’s interesting that it doesn’t work for the series 5 also. That’s too bad because I really liked the Pride sport band.

So just an update on my previous post - I decided to exchange my gold stainless for a silver one and they had the pride band available in store bundled with the watch. The salesperson was kind enough to let me try the band with the watch in store and sure enough one part did not lock in. He brought out another one and that one worked. I think the only way to be sure of getting one that works is to go into a store which is not a ready or even desirable option these days.

Just tried both of my pride bands in my 44mm SS S6 and the both worked just find fortunately

Thank you for providing an update! Glad to know some Pride band actually works with the watch. I might try to buy another Pride band in store and try it on while I’m there to make sure it works.

Good luck! It really is a pretty band, especially in the sunlight!
