not really used it much myself. its a ncie feature but im too set in my ways. and its just habbit going into phone - contacts or ipod - artist etc..

I'm using it for almost everything I do on the phone. It's unbeleivably quick and almost always brings up exactly what I want. I highly recommend everyone to give it try when looking up contacts or entertainment on their device.

Yes. I couldn't remember my mother-in-law's name so I a quick search on crazyb***h. Worked great!

I quite like it. My main issue with it is when you use it to play a track from the iPod it only plays the song and the album it's on, it doesn't play all of the songs on your iPhone starting at the one you select (making it kinda useless for me since I almost always listen to all-song shuffle).

I found I'm using it more then I thought. I have it set so when I double click the home button it goes to spotlight.

I had it like that for a while, but then I realised that if you push the Home Button once to go to the home screen, and then once again, it takes you to spotlight anyway, so I reserved the double tap for one of the other options.

That's true, good idea 🙂.

Yep. It's changed the way I launch apps, among other uses. If it's not on the first or second page, I use Spotlight.

I love it.

It's an amazing feature but it works better if you limit the search items to what you really need, mail for example. It's also awesome for launching app. It might be one of the best features of 3.0.

I have all of my work email go to my iPhone via Exchange. I've used it a lot already. One of the biggest missing features for those who use the iPhone in a business environment is the ability to search your inbox. Now there is still a shortcoming (doesn't search body of emails), but it is a mega, mega improvement.

i used it today to find an email to get an address to a birthday party I was going to tonight. Very nice feature.
