I've tried everything I can think of to get this to work and all I can manage is a small little current temp display on the bottom left corner of the screen. I'd like to get a full 5-day forecast on the lock screen. At this point I'm not even sure what questions to ask. Can anyone help with this?

I know what you are asking. There is a wbweather add-on in cydia. In winterboard select the "WbWeekWthr HD Lock". That is what you want.

This is the one I use. It's called homescreen 2.0 I think.

It has a 5 day forecast, and if you install Status Notifier from Cydia it also tells you about missed calls, new texts and e-mails all on your lock screen.

Yeah, no problem. I only use the weather portion but I love that it has the option to use status notifier along with it.

Will it show upcoming appointments like IS does?

It can show a full calendar, but I'm not sure if it lists upcoming appointments. Like I said, I only use the weather part.

Doesn't the half "slide to unlock" under the "tap to unlock" bother you? I'd be using it but I can't ignore it...

I actually like the way that looks. It sort of gently fades as it gets to the bottom. It sort of adds a little bit of contrast to it. But I can see what you mean.

I would guess you could just delete that image from the theme through ssh, but I'm not sure. If you really want to use it and thats the only thing holding you back, I suggest asking someone about it in that thread.

    Bingo! Thanks!

Anyone know if it's possible to use a custom lock screen wallpaper while using this?

The wallpaper in your lockscreen is the default that WbWeather HD Lock wallpaper. Can you set your homescreen wallpaper as your lockscreen wallpaper?

Not sure, I haven't tried it, I've always checked that particular setting via Cydia. Let me check it out...

UPDATE: Maybe in Open SSH, but not along the lines of Cydia/Winterboard.
