anyone want to try out facetime with me?

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! My iPhone 4 just arrived!

Get this...I heard the truck, then heard a thump outside the door...and the truck drove off.

No doorbell ringing, knocking, or anything! Guess they really didn't need a signature after all...
 
I'm glad I started a thread for everyone to try out their stand up comedy routine. I should have known better but I have a good sense of humor so let it roll. If anyone else wants to use the thread to find someone to try out facetime on their phone... good luck.

Do you have any idea if in the contacts list or within an individual contact if you are able to determine if a contact is connected to wi-fi?

Otherwise it's going to be a crapshoot establishing a FaceTime chat if there is no way to know if the person you are trying to have a video call with is even on wi-fi.

There are not many in this thread who have the phone, untill then we have to have some kind of fun. I gather this thread will explode once tomorrow hits. Most people wont have many close friends or relatives with the new phone so this will be very popular!

My dog is an Imperial Shih Tzu. Love her.

On topic: what's the deal guys? The OP wants to try out a really cool technology and is looking for someone to do it with. It's only weird if you make it weird. Otherwise it's a cool thing to try out.

LOL! I think I'll be trying Facetime with my mom as soon as hers arrives this afternoon.

Nope, not from So Cal. I wish! I visited San Diego about a year ago and fell in love with the place. I definitely have Cali blood and could easily live there! I did live up in Lemoore, CA for 6 horrible months...but I've been in the south the rest of my life!

Oh wow Lemoore is so horrible lol. My sister and her husband live there for reasons unknown to me. I live up north in the bay area.

Those dogs are evil. I had a vet tell me he'd rather see my 4ft snake than a Chihuahua. Oh and get real dogs people!!!!! lol

I dislike Chi's too (well, the short-haired ones anyway). My Cousin had one (and bought another for her kids) and they are SO cruel. They will bite and attack anyone that's not their owner/master, whatever. Every time I try to kiss it they will attempt to bite my face off. >:[

I rather have a long-haired Chihuahua. I met one in 2003 and it was the sweetest thing.
