I just got mine from Apple refurbished a couple weeks ago. It came with Ventura installed but I downgraded it to Monterey, as I couldn't stand using Ventura.

One thing I'm noticing is that everyone else listing the Product ID have 0x4A09 while mine is drastically different.

Well, it seems your BT module couldn't stand Monterey and drastically downgraded the Product ID.

I wouldn’t buy an iPad that doesn’t have stereo speakers.

The Mini intrigues me, but they’d have to add stereo speakers for me to consider it.
Well, that’s not an issue for me because I almost always use my AirPods with everything but my desktop Mac. Plus, I’m using the iPad mini 6 for note taking and web browsing, neither of which require steteo sound. If I were going to watch a movie, I’d do it on my MBA or MBP, not on the iPad.

I’m curious, @TheCockneyRebel, why you would be watching/listening to content that needs stereo speakers on an iPad rather than on your MBA. What am I missing here?

When doing anything, other than watching YouTube/video, I listen to radio on my devices.

Once you get used to stereo speakers (I always use my iPad Pro in landscape mode) you can’t really go back.

If you can, please go to Apple Logo/About This Mac/More Info/System Report, the click on Hardware/Bluetooth.

My machine is showing the following information:

Chipset: BCM_4387

Firmware Version: 20.5.529.8128

Product ID: 0x4A09

Can you please tell me what yours is showing as?

Thanks.
I take it you are asking this with regards to the sudden Bluetooth 5.3 capabilities that are now being marketed for this machine?
