I'm wondering if I should maybe get a 2nd hand 6+ now then and sell my 6....

I'll save quite a bit off a new 6S or 6S+ ! Decisions....

RAM is probably the biggest upgrade for me at this point as I am over having safari tabs reload. No 2gb of ram, no upgrade.

The camera is tempting, 8 MP doesn't cut it anymore, but 12 isn't bleeding edge either. They should have gone 16 MP.

8mp still holds its own quite well. That said, I'm really looking forward to the new 12mp sensor!

Have you all noticed that the S are new 20g heavier now as well?

Not sure how heavy they "feel" at mo, but will this make a difference? Also I'm same as others about RAM and the safari tab reloading

Apart from 3D Touch, nothing really interests me. I only really use the front camera for FaceTime and the current one is good enough, I don't take loads and loads of photos so I'm happy with the back camera, and the speed updates are welcome but hardly going to make a massive difference as it's pretty snappy as it is.

2GB RAM (which I think is likely) is an overdue addition and it would be nice not to have Safari tabs reload left, right and centre, but it's not enough to make me upgrade.

I'm not sure why - maybe it's the massive screen which is just so different to any other phone I've hitherto owned - but my 6 Plus still feels new. I wouldn't say I was bored, but my interest in my iPhone 5 had definitely waned when the 5s was announced.

I think I'm going to save the money and put it towards a new laptop next year.

I dont care about the weight, but the battery capacity is less compare to previous model. so sad.

Whether I'm blown away or not I always love the iPhone launch. Have had every iPhone since day 1 on launch day and I'm not about to break my streak lol.

Yes I've made beautiful photographs myself, with the 4S mind you, however more is always better, all things being equal, especially if you're into pixel peeping/zooming (I am). I'm really on the fence about the 6S, my 128GB 6 will probably sell for 800 € on ebay, which is 250 short of what I paid, but with the aweful exchange rate not sure if its worth the upgrade. I don't care about force touch.

I normally upgrade on a new hardware design phone i.e. 4 -5 -6, but this time, the interface will change so much by being able to use 3D Touch, that I'll feel I'm missing out on a new way of working. For the first time for a number of years, I'm upgrading after only a year of ownership

Now we now exact (Well unsure about the RAM), anyone who thought they were upgrading from the 6 to a 6S, are you still?

I'm a bit underwhelmed tbh this time. Not really much from my current 6. Better camera yes, touch ID - it's great now, 3D touch looks handy, but it's not too hard to open the app instead of shortcut to it.

Anyone else, I might hold off now?
Thanks

**Added poll to ask if you were going to upgrade before announcement, now know details are you still?**

Yes. But I am addicted to everything Apple. I may even get the Apple TV. Even though I already have an Apple TV. I am the exception, the person who has to have the newest stuff. Although I returned the watch cause it didn't impress me at all.

This is the first time I can remember so many features being tied to having a certain iPhone: live photos, force touch, hey siri always on.

It almost makes it feel like two different versions of IOS 9.

Well everyone who said would did they? Any maybe have our haven't?

Still some available for 25th delivery which I'm surprised at, keep going on order but backing off.

Want to confirm the RAM to still safari reloads, and unsure wether to go for + or not.....

I've ordered the 6s, although i have the 6. When i received the S model and (IF) don't like it, i'll be returning it and stay with my 6.

I have to say how are you "not going to like it" though!?! It's nigh on same as your current 6, but better.....

I have to weigh up the £620 (if 6S), and the sale of my current 6 (around £3-400?) To balance the cost, of in my eyes, not much extra this year

'Better' may mean bad battery life.. Heard the S model has a smaller battery, so i need to test it out :) If it can't cope with my usage, i'll return it :)

I've brought the £620 6S model, brought my iPhone 6 in March 2015. I don't mind wasting a bit of money. Planning on selling my 6 if i keep the S model for about £350-£400.

I'm still in two minds tbh, I normally upgrade no matter, but the S just doesn't seem to have the extras over the 6 this time. I like to have the latest but first time in a few years of iPhone I haven't been impressed.

The S is heavier, bigger, smaller battery... I'm actually thinking wether to get a 6 Plus, probably off here, rather the am getting an S, the new price between the 6 and 6S are to close to not get the S. Although still worried on size. The LG G3 has same size screen as Plus, and is much, albeit a bit thicker, smaller though.

Also I know lots of people saying there's more stock etc this year, but to me the 6S is still available during for delivery on launch day, and that hasn't happened for a long time, suggesting to me, there isn't as much interest as the 6 is actually a decent phone still, hardware wise.

Better camera, with biggest upgrade in like 3-4 years, new screen(3D touch tech), more ram. If you can afford it, it definitely makes sense to upgrade, imho. I just sell the current phone each year, to break even on the upgrade. No real skin off of my back

yeah... like you know... anything about picture quality....blah...

In fact I do, apparently you don't other then mindlessly repeating spoon fed fanboi propaganda. The sensor of this size can support a lot more mp than this without noticibly impairing image quality, and there a several devices out there proving it. Educate yourself.
