i wish i would have gotten the 16GB so i could hold more music and maybe video

Nope. I got the 16GB because I thought that JUST INCASE I need the room I'd have it. I have 12.5GB available on my iPhone right now with 215 songs, 6 videos and 79 photos.

Nope, got the 8 gig and couldn't imagine needing 16 gigs.

I'm using about 1.5 gigs with over 150 songs and about 5 pages worth of apps.

I got the 16, despite at the time only having maybe 4 gigs of music. I'm not a huge music guy, but wanted to future proof the phone as much as I could.

Turns out I really like having vids and stuff on the phone and so I'm using about 12 gigs right now - 8 of which is video / apps.

Its nice to have enough stuff on there to keep you occupied without having to worry about running out of room. 8 wouldn't have been enough.

I bought the white 16GB in Jan but wished there was a 32GB option...yea yea I know it's coming but at what price??? I have over 40GB of music alone. But I am satisfied with the space for the most part.

Same boat. I'm not getting another phone until I can find one with media capabilities as good as the iPhone and with 64GB of storage. Maybe the iPhone 4 or 5?

I actually have a 4gb iphone, and have yet to fill it up

then again im not the type to put a bunch of media on it. I'll toss a few things on there at a time but for me there's no need to keep it all on there.

Glad I got 16GB. I have an 8GB Touch, and it fills up FAST, so I definitely like the extra storage space.

I'm hoping for 32GB soon!! :)

I agree. A 32GB option or even 64GB would be great. My music collection has grown 8GB since just last summer alone. My phone is beyond full.

Surprisingly I haven't. I expected that with only 8 gigs as apposed to the 16 on my touch I would experience severe growing pains but I actually haven't, I just made a smart playlist that just keeps updating as I give songs plays and there is plenty of room for all of the photos, apps, and videos I want. It's worked out surprisingly well.

..You can never have enough space!

I waited on line for a couple of hours when these first came and realized that by the time I got into the store, the 16GB would be sold out. I went home and ordered a 16GB the next day. It took about 10 days to get but was well worth the wait.

Yup, same here...only I have 14Gb left. I love my phone. Ima get the invisibleSHIELD installed at a store tomorrow. They guarantee thier work. When they finish they put the phone in oven and bake it to dry faster. Three of my friends got it done at the same store. and thier phone came out looking glossy and shinning.

(When the phone bakes, they put temperature that wont effect the the phone.)

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20)

I'm satisfied with my 8GB 3G. I never use up that much room for songs- and I don't put any videos on it. Currently I only have 144 songs.

Nope. I own the 3G 8gig. I allready owned an ipod classic with 80gig of space and still have room. Yes. I use my ipod for music and iphone for phone.

Same here. I never realized how much useless clutter my 16gb touch accumulated. The only adjustments I had to make going to an 8gb iphone was cutting back on podcasts I'd already heard, and spending an extra ten minutes a week managing playlists.

I got the 16 and am very happy with it. Unless price is an issue, I usually try and get as big a hard drive as I can b/c they can get outdated so quickly.

I have every episode of Arrested Development on my 16GB. As well as 1600 songs, 307 photos taken with the iphone camera, 5 pages of apps, and a few other movies and podcasts. I've got 500MB left, and I wouldn't mind more storage. I had an 8GB first generation and knew from it I needed as much storage as possible.

I got the 8GB, and I'm sort of wishing I got the 16GB.

I still have 3GB left but I know that over time that will become nothing..

I've got the 16Gb iPod touch, and that is slowly filling up. I think that in the long run it is worthwhile having.
