Nope, 16gigs would be wayyyyyy to much for my needs. I dont even have music on my phone. Only pictures.

16GB is perfect for me, b/c I like having extra space on my iPhone; on the other hand my significant other's 8GB iPhone is perfect for her and 16GB would leave about 13GB untouched on hers. I tend to put more music and video/movies on my iPhone b/c my commute is an additional hour each way. :)

I got the 16GB and I wished I had more space. I use this as my primary do-everything mobile device and it straight up replaced my old 30GB iPod. I'm down to 2.5GB free space and that's after deleting hundreds of songs I didn't listen to anymore.

I got a 8GB iPhone last week and guess what... It was completely full of apps, music, and videos 3 hours after I got it... It perfectly worked out to where I synced a few of my playlists from my 80GB iPod onto the iphone and it just happened to be about 5 gigs... then 1.5 gigs of movie and 500 MB for apps, photos, etc.

I'm gonna see about going to the store and getting it changed when my invisibleSHIELD comes in the mail (probably in a few days) and upgrade to a white 16GB. Unfortunately it means i'll have wasted $20 on a restocking fee... but I basically got a free two weeks to put as many scratches on the iphone as possible before turning it back in haha (since I'm not using a case right now).

I'm glad I didn't get a 16GB phone because I bought a refurb first gen phone before the 3G came out. Yes, I could use about 100GB, but who knows if that would've been another $100 for a phone that someone won't buy when I get the newer one.

I'm not buying a new phone until there is a 32GB model available. These new iTunes plus songs take up a lot more space, which means I'm gonna need EVEN MORE room to fit crap. I already don't put any videos or photos on my phone.
