iPhone XS Max Anyone wishing they had got the 512GB version?

256GB is a bit of a tight squeeze for all my music so I'm resigned to only having my favourites on there. Still, I'd like to be able to summon up any song I want.

That's not including films, games etc. I kinda wish I had gotten the 512GB iPhone XS Max.

No because I’m only using 88GB on my 256 now and I had the 256GB X last year and always had well over 100GB spare.

Anyhow not getting 500GB this year will give me an excuse to upgrade next year lol

64GB definitely isn't enough these days. It makes me wonder how people managed with 8GBs like on the iPhone 5C.

One can get a terabyte on the Note 9 with a 512GB microSD card but I hate removable storage - it's never as good as internal.

I would still get the 256GB even if they offered 128. 87GB its too close to the 110 or whatever it is that you get on the 128GB and I don’t have any movies or TV shows on here at the moment.

Of course I don't really need all that music on my phone because I'm mainly streaming except when I'm outside, but I like having my Google Play playlists on the device and so much more other music.

I went from i7+ 128 to an Xs Max 64. I had to exchange for a 256gb. I keep a lot of music, books and photos on my phone.

I did not go with a 512. To put all of my music on a phone, I will need a 6TB version. And that would really be silly. I just load a good "sampling" of what I want for now. I keep about 5 or 6 "playlists" in iTunes and sync to different ones when I feel like it.

So, 256gb works for me. I would have went with 128gb if possible.

I don't use iCloud except for backups for my various Apple products. I tend to use Google Cloud a lot - mainly for photos but also music.

I now have ALL video and pics of my kids, plus music and apps on my 512 Xs. I have about 160GB left. I love it!

ICloud storage for me is at 50GB...mainly for backups of my apple devices.

That must be a real joy, knowing you've got everything you need in one place. Inside, I like streaming music but outside it would eat into my data plan too much so I like having it stored on one device.

Starting to wish so, I am absolutely loving this phone and if it’s going to last me 2+ years I’ll probably need more space.

I think I'll be okay. 256GB is still a hell of a lot of space and I tend to delete TV shows/movies once I've watched them. I still wonder how folk managed with 8GB.
