Anyone with 32GB? Helps with PS?

As PS doesn't really get any advantage of the multi-core architecture, I think, I'll stick to the Air instead of the Pro. Do you guys with 32 GB feel any difference while using lots of layers etc? Or am I wrong and a M4 Pro Pro (not Max) with 48GB would be that much better? Thanks!
