I know this is asking a lot - but I was one of the people deciding between 16" MBP or Mac Pro.

I went with Mac Pro, which arrived today - base specifications (planning on upgrading as time goes on). Was hoping I could grab a MacBook Pro 16" 2.4GHz i9, 64GB-Ram, AMD 5500M with 8GB - but they are backordered for several weeks.

Is there anyone with Photoshop willing to run this test? I would be curious to see how it performs on the MacBook Pro compared to my new Mac Pro system.

All you have to do is download the files, and open the script in Photoshop - then walk away for about 20 mins. Would really appreciate it!

Here is how the Mac Pro ranked:

I have the 32GB version of above and ran this. I get this error from the script about 8 minutes in: "This feature cannot run because this machine does not provide required OpenGL support."

No idea what that's all about.

Ahh that's very strange. Can't find anything about it.

REALLY appreciate you at least taking the time though. Wish I knew what that error was about...
