Anyone with nMP, dual D700 and Mojave

Actually I have D700s and since the Mac has been back (and the cards replaced) I do not see this flickering at all, not even a little.
 
So do you think that the problem come from a faulty GPU? And why does it work fawlessy in High Sierra? And why does it work perfectly with 10.14 and start with 10.14.1? If I install 10.14 I have no problem...

Also as stated I have no problem in a virtual environment under Fusion or if I start Mojave screen recording.

Very strange for an hardware issue.

I'm facing the same problem with my Mac Pro 6,1 with Quadcore, Dual D500 cards, 16GB RAM and Mojave. The graphic problems are much more pronounced when using Lightroom. My Mac Pro was manufactured in Week 16 in April 2016.

I will do another test 10.14.5 Beta 1. If it fails, I will do a clean install of High Sierra.

I don't know it's a hardware issue, yet. But I also think, that there were no problems with graphics prior to Mojave.

I actually just played a video in Chrome and it came back with a vengeance.

I have no idea as to rhyme or reason anymore :/
 
I am here with 10.14.5 and my feeling is, that the problem is perhaps a little less prominent. But I have also switched from Lightroom to Capture One. If I start Google Chrome the screen goes really crazy. After closing Google Chrome again everything is almost fine. I can witness the flickering lines, when I open a menu on the top and scroll through the menu up and down.

I will keep an eye on it and report back. Perhaps I will do first a clean install of Mojave, do some tests and if the problem persists install High Sierra and hope, it's fine. But then I would miss the dark mode I think. 😉

By the way there is no a single problem with graphics on my new MacBook Pro 15 (Mid 2018), even with Google Chrome.
 
I have no problem at all with HS 10.13.6. Really stable operating system. I think I can survive until my macpro end with it
 
I have made a clean install with High Sierra and all updates. So far it looks great. Even with Google Chrome there is not any problem. Let's keep our fingers crossed. 😉

Upgraded from Mojave to Catalina same exact problem. The strange 'glitch' lines on the right of the monitor connected via thunderbolt in 4K.
Changed my monitor with a small 24" HDMI one in 1080p and no problem at all.
 
Using SwitchResX if I set the <desired resolution>@60Hz using the HiDpi setting I have the glitch. If I don't use the HiDpi setting and only <desired resolution>@60Hz I don't have.

But, the font are not as crisp as in HiDpi.
 
Found that if I use airplay and duplicate my monitor over AppleTV, I have no problem at all about glitch on the right side of the monitor.
 
Ok for those interested. After months of trial and error I have found a solution that work for me: I have both display port and HDMI cable connected. So the system show two monitor connected but I use only the display port output. No more glitch.
