Anyone's Alert Tones Sound Really Low And A Muffled Weird Alert Tone After 8.4?

So when I get a text or a the email alert sound comes through my phone .... before 8.4 I got a perfect crystal clear ding and alert tone.
NOW 75% of the time when locked and sitting their and I get a text message the alert tone sound is all low and weird sounding ... sound like someone is covering the phone and I can barely hear the alert tone which makes it sound like the actual sound is all jumbled and muffled.

This is Driving me NUTS ... when in my pocket I can;t even really hear it ... and sitting right in front of me it normally DINGS really loud like normal but now it;s all low and muffled.

Is this a know bug or do I have something weird going on here?

mine appears to be unchanged from 8.3 so far.

I've experienced this periodically in previous versions, but it's happening much more frequently in 8.4. Quick fix is to adjust the sound level. But definitely annoying.

I noticed this recently with 8.3. Seems to be better with 8.4.

Ya it's really kinda hit and miss .... I did a restart and changed the volume a bit and have yet to hear it today! Who knows ... these drive me nuts!
