Nope. Ordered at 3:10am EST and I'm still at "Processing Items".
I'm in no hurry though... iOS 7 makes my 4S feel like a new phone.

Title says it all

Yeah, mine shipped 2 weeks ago, arrived yesterday. I love it. Oh, we're talking about a 2 meter lightning cable, right? Oh, we're not? Guess the title DIDN'T say it all. LOL

In reality though, I bet we see these all shipping direct from China like the last couple. Their supply chain supports a repeat of the way they did it in the past, and with 2-3 day delivery from China, coupled with 1-3 days shipping and the weekend, we're looking at the 27-30 just like they say....

Order 9/20
Ship 9/23-9/26
Deliver 9/30-10/02

The timeline makes absolute perfect sense to be coming from China like past models. The biggest variables are the weekends for delivery. It's Saturday in China, and FedEx\UPS does have movement in China on Saturdays and Sundays, but once it hits the US, there's no movement on a Sunday in most cases.. so best case scenario if it ships Saturday or Sunday it's in the US and through customs Monday or Tuesday then takes a day or two to get out for delivery, but the other variable is domestic deliveries in the US don't happen Saturday or Sunday, so if the stars don't align then it'll roll into the following week for OUT FOR DELIVERY and be September 30 or October 1-2...

My guess is these will all ship out Sunday or Monday, hit the US Monday\Tuesday\Wednesday, then go out for delivery next Thursday\Friday\following Monday.

Ha. I assumed we'd all know because we're in the iPhone section of the forums.

First of all, both UPS and FedEx deliver on Saturdays (standard, let alone expedited like Apple uses) in most of the US. And the carrier's 18-wheelers go from depot to depot on Sundays too...just no local delivery.

a) no, "standard delivery" apple uses NEVER EVER delivers on Saturday.

b) no, there is no movement of aircraft on Sunday. Check out any FedEx or UPS aircraft. You'll see them sitting on the ground from their inbound flight Sat night\Sunday AM, until their Monday flight... it's always been that way. I work at a major international airport... it's not rocket science. Don't believe me? Read their Union contract. Very little operations in the company on Sundays.

You can wish it wasn't so, and I do too, but the reality is the above is the case.... so regardless of how amazing it would be to have my iPhone delivered tomorrow, it ain't gonna happen.

I know I was just teasing... and I saw it on the recent posts section, I didn't go into the actual iPhone category.

Does money being taken from your account make a difference? Like would they still take the money even if they weren't planning to ship the phone soon?

I know with preorders that they do not charge your account til the phone ships, but since this is literally the release day they might just charge your account anyways.

i've just seen where some accounts have been charged and some haven't. does it make any difference towards being closer to shipping?

I know I've been charged for both of mine.

They have delivered iPhones on saturdays in the past. And I said 18-wheelers, not airplanes. No one is getting them tomorrow. But your date calculations don't add up. I've also tracked packages that were on UPS planes on both Saturday and Sunday.

Sprint and AT&T have begin shipping from what i've seen on this forum. I wonder why Apple haven't begin shipping yet. the wait is killing me.

I just canceled my Apple.com order while in a ATT store and bought the 64GB SG 5S. Which they have most of. Worked out perfectly since that's what I was looking for.
