In the WWDC presentation, didn't the tomtom app have a holder with speakers in as to hear it in a car.. so i guess they have not changed them from the rather poor ones in the 3G phone.

Agreed that was a big gap for me. Its pathetic that an LG flip phone I had back in 2006 could be heard across noisy rooms, but I can barely hear my iPhone in my pocket in a fairly quiet room.
