Anything about Speakers? (iPhone 3G S)

    speakers was one of the things bothering me a bit. anyone at wwdc know if the speaker has been upgraded?

    Weren't the speaker updated with the 3G?

    My brother's 3G sounds better than my iPhone Original

    I really doubt that they significantly upgraded it, cause they would have added it to one of there "new" features

    Yeah, but they are still quite quiet anywhere other than a dead silent room.

    In the WWDC presentation, didn't the tomtom app have a holder with speakers in as to hear it in a car.. so i guess they have not changed them from the rather poor ones in the 3G phone.

    The docking station will transmit the directions through you car stereo.

    ahh i see.. it still does not bode too well for the phones speakers ..

    Agreed that was a big gap for me. Its pathetic that an LG flip phone I had back in 2006 could be heard across noisy rooms, but I can barely hear my iPhone in my pocket in a fairly quiet room.
