I love MacRumors, check it pretty much every day.

Anyway, here's my wishlist for stuff that I'll likely never see. Or maybe it HAS happened and I missed the news?

    1) Wacom iPad. Wacom can't sell enough of their stuff to lower the price, and Apple has apparently completely run out of ideas. So you'd think Jony might wet himself imagining how many times he could run with the word AMAZING as he introduced the newest Air with a pressure-sensitive stylus.

    2) Apple TV with a la carte programming. I just want ESPN and the SEC Network. I don't want the rest of it. Can't Apple just BUY a cable company with all their extra cash? C'mon already.

    3) Apple iPad/TV with gaming. Tons of people are happy to pop $60 for new titles. Neither the PS4 or the XBox One have hardly any new games. So all we get on the iPad are PS2 versions of GTA games.

Jobs has left the building. Now we just keep getting bigger, thinner phones, iPads that can browse the web the same speed as ever...

I'm completely bored and there aren't even any rumors or speculation that things are ever gonna be exciting again. And shopping Apple's refurb store is actually the BEST option - not like you're missing out on anything new. Unless you just can't be bothered to swipe your credit card 'cuz you're so busy tweeting about crap that even bores you.

I'm bored. Apple is supposed to innovate so other companies can copy their stuff. Now they just seem to be happy announcing that Timmy is gay and calling it a day.

If anyone knows of anything that might sound remotely innovative or exciting, that'd be awesome.

If you check MacRumors every day, you'd already know the answers to your questions.

    Oh. You're that guy.

If you're bored with Apple, then just start following other companies. Google, Samsung, Microsoft, etc. There's plenty out there in the tech world to keep you occupied.

Try checking once a month. You'll be less disappointed.

:apple:watch is likely the beginning of something very new - not just a one-off gimmick. Wearable tech is the logical next step from just the phone that does... Well, everything.

Apple Pay very well may be a part of something much larger:

They realize they can't be an innovative company that "just" does iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, And Mac. That's why they're in the process of new and different rather than just more.

Sorry, I was hoping to upgrade my iPhone this year and was disappointed with the new products.

Is there a section or topic here dedicated to new features people might like to see?

I really like my new rMBP. But now that I have it, I kinda want the "cool stuff" that goes along with it.

I just wanna be excited about something that's in the works, or even rumored to be in the works. Apparently, nothing in my personal "wish list" is of any concern.

Maybe I've just turned old and grumpy :)

All of the excitement over the last 10 years, ultimately has been about miniaturization. Now we have supercomputers in our pockets. The only place left to go with that is on the wrist, and then, ultimately a GGlass/headsup type "invisible" (implanted?) setup. Part of the seamless invisibility of it all will need to be voice recognition and the voice interface. Apple is going to need to cone up with some kind of API so developers can hook Siri into apps. Other than that I'm feeling a long lull in tech until there's some kind of breakthrough in physics.

Do you really think that the channel owners are going to cave and let any provider have permission to go a la carte? If a provider wants to offer the popular channels, the channel owners force them to take all their crappy channels too.

Not to mention that Apple has zero experience, knowledge, or desire to be a content owner. It could seriously impact existing content deals since now they have to do business with a competitor of theirs. Media owners would be less likely to want to deal with Apple

You mean something like this Wacom stylus?:,2817,2423323,00.asp

Just hide the icons you don't want to see.

Hardly any new games? GameStop shows about 200 titles released for PS4 in the last year.
