Anyway to improve reception when Hot-spotting iPhone 7??

Is there anyway to improve the reception when using the iPhone 7 as a Hotspot?

I would like to avoid having to buy a Verizon MiFi Hotspot, along with the $10 monthly fee, and n
ot even sure I would see any benefit to a Verizon MiFi Hotspot.

Only way to increase the RF input is to change location so you are closer to the tower.

There are some companies who make cellular booster but they are expensive.
