iPhone Anyway to unlock and not lose Jailbreak?

Got my 6+ approved to be unlocked but if I do unlock procedure right now I will lose the Jailbreak correct? I'm on 8.1.2

8.1.2 is still being signed so just download the ipsw and restore your phone with the firmware. Then do your backup restore or start fresh, whatever. Then jailbreak.

You do not need to restore your phone after an unlock approval. At least with ATT. Every year I get my phone unlocked, pop in a T-mobile Sim and it works fine.

You don't need to restore.
Just put in another gsm sim and you're done.
