i have a aw4 at the moment, the battery is nice but i still have to charge it at the end of the day, would a series 5 with AOD off, noise detection off, get me to 2 day battery life, or should i ask, will a 5 with AOD off be able to last longer than 4 based on these who upgraded from 4 to 5. thanks

Over here
I got a new S5 yesterday fully charged from about 2 pm, I am just charging it again now from 38%. I have been to the gym twice and have been using it for Spotify. The display is always on.

So yes I would say you can get 2 days out of it based on your suggested use, but really depends on what apps are running in the background.

Edit for reference due to timezone differences, 2pm UK Saturday through to 11pm Sunday it went down to 38%.

it's the same chip inside so given we're nearly over the halfway point until the next model is released, I'd wait if it were me.

Just another tip you can use to conserve battery life, disable ‘hey Siri’. By doing so, you don’t have the constant listening of the microphone, which does use battery, but it’s probably nothing substantial. But it’s the ‘small tweaks’ that add up to conserve the battery life.

i get about 2 days out of my 44mm series 5 but I have almost all notifications off besides activity and phone calls. Display is set to always on. So if it was off I would probably get 3-4 days easy.
