I know there’s been a few postings regarding AOD for the iPhone 14 Pros but I created a Poll to see what everyone thinks and feels like doing with having the feature on or off on their new 14 Pros. Let me know what you think!

Yes, you are correct there are a few postings on this already.

On since 9/16. I’m seeing zero to very minimal impact on battery performance.

I will turn it off. Has zero use for me and I always put my phone screen side down.

On. My Watch does not do AOD so it's really useful.

Also, it is only on when I am nearby and the phone is not in my pocket.

I had mine on for the last week but just turned it off yesterday. Battery life is slightly less, so not a big concern. However, seeing the screen on all the time constantly makes me think I had a notification and it was driving me crazy 😆

I'll probably turn it back on in a few weeks once the battery settles in.

I’m keeping it on. I like being able to glance at my phone to see if I have any notifications. I’ve found that with AOD on I’m not randomly tapping my phone to see if I missed any notifications. I do use a sleep focus so the screen is off during that time.

I keep it on. As others noted, I like being able to see the time and widgets on the lock screen. I turned AOD for a day and I didn't notice a drastic increase in battery life anyway.

On as along as I can end my day with some battery life remaining. It’s an incredible feature can’t wait for the live updates, that will be game changing for sure

I'm leaving it on. Whenever I first get an iPhone the battery life sucks regardless because I'm constantly on it. Now that my usage is settling back to normal its not a problem.

I turn it on when I want it on, off otherwise. I've found it handy if I am doing stuff around the house but want to keep an eye on messages/the time easily with a glance.

You might say "Apple Watch," but I just don't wear it daily.

My Apple Watch is still easier to look at than pulling my phone out of my pocket. I seldom leave my phone laying around where I could take advantage of the always on screen. I am loving my new Ultra!
