AOL can't connect

Hi I have to go to a place that has AOL for there server but it won't connect I tried istalling AOL but I can't get it to work the router connects to the computer through USB.
 
Still people use AOL?
As far as setting up internet connection, can't you use OS X's set up assistant? I don't know what kind of AOL set up you have there.
