When I delete emails from my iPhone they dont get deleted off the aol mail server? Is there anyway to do this?

Do you have it set up as a POP or an IMAP account?

I believe it's imap. When I set it up all I did was enter my email address and password and the iPhone did the rest. And from what I read the iPhones sets up aol as imap by default.

Thanks for the reply's! I looked at the link aggie, but doesnt seem to make sense. It tells me to delete all my accounts, then type in imap.aim.com but I have aol.

Well, they seemed to be happy with it. 🙂

Try this then:

Look at your AOL settings in mail and see if you have the same thing as above. However, from what I see, AOL is supposed to default to IMAP. Try checking your Advanced settings under the AOL account also.
