AOL/MSN/Yahoo = TxT or Data?

I am curious if the Apps that are going to be created for chat will use txt messages or data to send messages?

Anyone?
 
My best guess is data. AIM is available for the iPod Touch too.

And Apollo, MobileChat, fring, and AgileMessenger got away with it...why not AOL?🙂
