Will Apple just go to Aperture 3 or update again. Also if they update it will they add more features to keep it competitive with lightroom or just fix bugs/update RAW support?

The next update should be version 3.0 for aperture as it will be (presumably) a major update.
As for features to be competitive with Lightroom, well that's anyone's guess. One thing is for sure, it will not be a bug fix but rather a major update. Whether that update will keep it competitive is unknown.
Given the number of people defecting to Lightroom, apple needs to hit this out of the park
