I just upgraded to a new MBP and used Migration Assistant to copy everything over from my older one. When I launch Aperture, it is asking for my license number. When I enter it, it says it is invalid. Here are the details:

I purchased Aperture 2.1.1 from the trial version and received a license number to activate it. About five months later, I upgraded to Version 3 and received another different license number. When I enter the version 3 license number, it does not accept it and says it is an upgrade number and I need to enter the original license number. When I enter the original license number (the one I got when I activated the trial version), it says it is not valid. Not sure what to do now since I only have two license numbers and they both do not work. Is there a license number for the trial version that I should be using.

If anyone had this issue before and fixed it, please let me know.

Thanks

Re-install Aperture 3 from disc. Should work.

Just install right over your current copy.
